Aftermarket wheel will be located the same as the original. The shift pattern on the column will aloow you to use either a 3-speed or 4-speed transmission (it will not match the detents on a Powerglide). A shift linkage ?????? is required for installation and will attach to the lower shift linkage provided on the column. |

| SPECS: 5 position tilt, self-canceling turn signals, 4-way flashers, knobs and handles, both 3-7/8" and 4-1/4" wiring harnesses included, 1" 48 shaft and ignition. Bolts in place of OEM column, original wheel bolts directly. |
Uses your stock dash and floor mounts. Connects to your existing gear box with the ididit installation kit. The kit contains a u-joint, telescooping shaft and vibration joint. If your original equipment is in good shape, you can use them, but be sure to inspect them carefully. |
If you're replacing an original straight column with a tilt column, the installation kit is required. |

| SPECS: Self-cnaceling turn signals, 4-way flashers, knobs and handles, 3-7/8" wiring harness, 3/4" 36 shaft for all years. Uses original dash and floor mounts. Grip position of aftermarket wheels (required, original won't fit) will match original wheel. |
Original column has a solid shaft from inside the gearbox to the steering wheel. This shaft will need to be modified. A new coupler will need to be put in place between the modified shaft and the column.
