PLANNING & DESIGN
and "The Checklist"
A good finished interior doesn't happen by accident.
It happens because someone took the time to plan and design the interior
and pretty well had it all figured out before lifting a finger to do the
work. You've seen the `32 Ford Coupe, shown above, in our catalogs. It
is a great example of a well-planned and designed owner-built interior.
You can achieve equal results if you follow The RodDoors Way.
The RodDoors Way means that before you consider
how you're going to do your interior, you need to first consider what
you want it to look like. What do you want the design to be — plain
or detailed? What colors would you like to use — subdued or bright?
What textures would be good — smooth like leather, rougher like
tweed? This step will give you a foundation design.
Look over the samples on this page and in the
Customer Gallery. See what many other have done. Then put your imagination
to work and let your creative genius come out. Work with our designs or
create your own. Either way, The RodDoors Way will make it possible. So
let's get going! To the below right are links to The Checklist. Be sure
to download a PDF copy to use during your planning and design process.
